Who is Mayaprakash?
Namaste, and welcome to personal weblog!
This is the place where I write most about my personal interest and things that matter to me on everyday life. I will also write what is useful to the readers and show you a sneak peak of what goes through my mind.
For those of you who are new to my space:
I’m Mayaprakash Pant, sometimes referred as “Max Dai”, and I manage a popular blog from Nepal “AdvancedBlog.Com”.
I’m a civil engineer by education and blogger by passion.
I was always excited about technologies and computers, so in 2014 I created my first blog at the age of 16 but failed. However, after 2 years, I discovered AdvancedBlog in 2016 and now I am getting success through it.
I was a fond of technology since childhood. I used to spend most hours in computers which were far more than normal for other kids. I used to spend my money in buying gadgets and books related to operating different software and programs.
In 2004, I moved to Bhimdatta, Nepal and attended Sunrise Public Higher Secondary School. I was the smartest kid on my classroom when it came about computer subject. Very few students used to have computers in their home a decade ago and I was among them. I didn’t had my own computer but I used to play with my uncle’s computer in his room, who is a dot net specialist in Kathmandu, Nepal right now. I used to enjoy his company and he taught me very good life lessons during those years. I finally bought my personal laptop in 2017 with my own earnings.
The first programming language that I learnt was QBasic. Then I learned the concept of flowcharts and algorithms. Despite being a civil engineering student, I practiced coding on my leisure times, and I learnt writing codes in html, css, xml and php. I was so crazy about codes that I practiced them late night up-to 12 am. Maybe, that was the reason why I failed to score good marks on my final exams, although I scored 79.85% on SLC, with 97 out of 100 scores in mathematics.
Schools and colleges never taught me what I need in real life. When I was appointed for job and sent to the field for the first time, I was so nervous because I had no idea on how to set up the automatic level machine, although I knew other technical things. There were 40 students on my classroom and our teacher used to demonstrate those practical things like a museum due to lack of instruments. We were always in rush because there were other students in line waiting for their turn to play with the machines. But thanks to YouTube, I watched a tutorial video earlier before going into the field and saved my reputation as well as job. I developed and learnt skills myself. From plotting of land, to preparing estimate, valuation of property and carrying out different types of surveys using instruments such as Total Station and Theodolite, I learnt it on my own.
Now I realize that life is complex and needs to be taken seriously. The way ordinary people are earning money for future, my calculations say they will hardly save around 50 to 60 lacks rupees, or even less after 20 years from now. That won’t be enough to buy a single plot of land or flat as the rates are already high up-to nearly 1 crore rupees per unit in cities. An ordinary man with ordinary job won’t be able to afford that now, and surely he can’t afford it later after 20 years during his retirement because the price will get doubled in future.
That is the reason I’m investor as well. I invest in profitable business and programs. If you want to be a future millionaire, you should never be dependent on a single job. Always maintain two or three extra commercial businesses besides your regular job, doesn’t matters whether they are small or big. Always maintain an entrepreneurial mindset with a goal of earning big cash every day.
On the other hand, I’m an open minded dude who listens to everyone and who loves freedom. I love to live life my way and follow my path. That is why I dig in everyday and create videos for my YouTube channel and share something good with the community. You should not be a workaholic. It will make you a feeling less guy who doesn’t cares about the society and people, and is always concerned about his job and money. Don’t be that guy.
Now, you have learnt so much about me, I want to tell you that I can bring any web page on top of Google search. That is what I learnt in the past 4 years, and I share such stuffs on Advanced Blog.
And, I’m a huge fan of mixed martial arts (MMA) and professional wrestling. I practiced Tae Kwondo for 3 years; I currently do heavy lifting, body building, and train in boxing to stay active.
Here’s a picture that I took recently:
